Acceptance and Eligibility

By using this Site, you warrant that:

  • You have read and understood these Terms and our Privacy Policy, and

  • You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement, or you have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

You must be at least 13 years old to use this Site or place an order.

Nature of Our Products

Lisson HiFi specialises in collectible and vintage audio equipment, primarily manufactured between the 1970s and 1990s. Unless expressly stated otherwise, products are pre-owned and vintage, and may show signs of age, wear, or prior use consistent with their era.

Product descriptions are provided in good faith and are intended to accurately reflect condition, originality, and functionality at the time of sale.

Orders

Placing an order through the Site constitutes an offer to purchase products at the listed price, including applicable taxes and delivery charges.

We reserve the right to accept or reject any order at our discretion, including due to availability, pricing errors, or suspected fraud. A binding agreement is formed only once payment is received, and an order confirmation is issued.

It is your responsibility to review all order details prior to submission.

Pricing and Payment

All prices are listed in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable. Delivery costs are shown separately.

Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase using the payment methods available on the Site. Payments processed via third‑party providers (such as PayPal or buy‑now‑pay‑later services) are subject to their respective terms.

We do not accept fraudulent or unlawful payments. All transactions are subject to verification.

Availability and Cancellation

All products are subject to availability. As many items are one‑off or limited vintage pieces, availability may change without notice.

We may cancel an order before dispatch if a product becomes unavailable, is incorrectly listed, or is canceled due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control. In such cases, you will be offered a refund or store credit.

Delivery, Title, and Risk

We currently ship within Australia unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Delivery times are estimates only. Title to goods remains with us until full payment is received. Risk passes to you upon delivery to the nominated address.

You are responsible for ensuring the delivery address is correct and that someone is available to receive the goods.

Returns and Australian Consumer Law

Change of Mind

  • Due to the vintage and collectible nature of our products, we do not offer change‑of‑mind returns.

  • Any exception is strictly at our discretion and, if approved, may result in store credit less restocking, handling, and freight costs.

Australian Consumer Law

  • Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

  • You are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund if a product has a major failure, or compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. For non‑major failures, we may choose to repair or replace the item.

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise required by law.

Custom Sourcing and Future Services

Where we agree to source specific items on your behalf, such purchases may be subject to separate terms, deposits, or non‑refundable payments, which will be communicated prior to confirmation.

Servicing and repair services may be offered in the future and will be governed by separate terms at that time.

Intellectual Property

All content on this Site, including text, images, logos, and branding, is owned by or licensed to Lisson HiFi and is protected by Australian and international intellectual property laws.

You must not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without our prior written consent.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by you for the relevant product; and

  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profit, business, or opportunity.

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.

Privacy and Collection Notice

We collect personal information to process orders, provide services, and communicate with you. Information may be shared with third‑party service providers such as payment processors and delivery services.

  • Disputes: Parties must attempt to resolve disputes in good faith before commencing legal proceedings.
